The machine provides a maximum bevel width of 0–15 mm on materials below 400 MPa. Bevel angles are changed using replaceable milling heads, with standard options of 0°, 30°, 37.5°, 45°, 50° and 60°. Other angles are available on request.
In addition to V-beveling, the B15 ELECTRA NG supports facing and radius machining. Available edge-rounding radiuses are R2.5 mm, R3.5 mm and R4 mm. N.KO also specifies the edge-rounding function for preparation before surface treatment.
The new-generation machine is powered by a 2,600 W motor at 230 V and operates at 6,600 rpm. Feed is manual. The motor incorporates patented dust protection intended to extend durability under demanding working conditions.
A built-in scale for accurate bevel-size adjustment allows the required bevel size to be set directly on the machine. A swivelling ergonomic handle supports manual operation, while the main handle can rotate and the auxiliary handle can be mounted in three positions.
The B15 ELECTRA NG also incorporates several electronic safety and motor-protection functions. These include Electronic Safety Shutoff to reduce kickback when the milling head jams, Soft Start with inrush current limitation, Electronic Overload Protection, restart protection, a safety switch against unintentional startup and automatic motor shutoff when the carbon brushes are worn.
An integrated anti-vibration system uses damping and the auxiliary handle to reduce vibration. An LED indicator shows restart-protection or overheating status.
The machine weighs 9.5 kg. It is manufactured in the Czech Republic and is equipped with a German-manufactured motor.
The B15 ELECTRA NG is also available in combinations with the B-DOCK stationary dock and the inoXpipe Beveler, depending on the required configuration.
