The UZ12 ULTRALIGHT is a compact automatic-feed bevelling system designed for efficient weld preparation on plates, profiles and selected pipe applications. With a maximum bevel width of 12 mm, material thickness range of 3–35 mm, automatic feed at 1.8 m/min and a low machine weight of 30 kg, it combines portability with productive edge preparation for workshop, assembly and on-site use.
The UZ12 ULTRALIGHT is one of the lightest automatic-feed bevelling machines in the N.KO range. Its compact dimensions and low weight make it suitable not only for workshop use, but also for assembly and field applications where mobility and straightforward handling are important.
The machine is designed for conventional steel up to 600 MPa, stainless steel, brass, copper and aluminium. It can process material from 3 to 35 mm thick, with minimum workpiece dimensions of 65 mm width, 60 mm length and 3 mm thickness. It can also be adapted for pipe beveling from an internal diameter of 95 mm.
Bevel angles are changed using replaceable angle kits, with available angles of 22.5°, 30°, 37.5°, 45° and 50°. The machine supports both V-bevels and double-sided bevels, including X and K configurations, and N.KO states that double-sided beveling can be carried out without material handling.
The integrated automatic feed allows the UZ12 ULTRALIGHT to move along large workpieces at a feed rate of 1.8 m/min, while smaller parts can be inserted directly into the machine. This dual operating concept allows both mobile and stationary use, giving the system flexibility across different production scenarios.
